The Westmorland County Agricultural Societies 31st AGM was held on Saturday 14th February at Lane Farm, Crooklands. With over 70 in attendance it was a lovely opportunity to reflect back on the Societies achievement’s over the last 12 months and to hear from our Oxford Farming delegates and from representatives of the Great North Air ambulance, Cancer Research and Blue Skies Charity – all recipients of Society fundraising over the last year. Our new President, John Cooke, and President Elect, Neil Dowker were elected, with Matthew Robinson, and David Martin entering the final year as Chair and Vice Chair of the Society. David Fell and Paul Duckett continue as Treasurer and Showground Director.
